Roger Postlethwaite

Roger Postlethwaite is senior vice president of GreenPointe
Holdings, LLC and leads the vision and direction of GreenPointe
Communities, which is actively acquiring, creating and transforming
residential communities in the Southeast. Postlethwaite is well
known throughout the residential real estate industry for his
leadership and development of highly acclaimed communities in
Florida, Georgia, the United Kingdom and Spain. His experience in
research, planning, entitlements, development and homebuilding has
earned him a reputation of quality, class and ingenuity among his
peers.
Postlethwaite moved to Florida from the U.K. in 1974 to oversee
the planning and design of The Meadows in Sarasota, a 1,300-acre,
4,000-home mixed-use community. Following the success of the
community, Postlethwaite was named president of Taylor Woodrow
Homes where he expanded the company's operations into Tampa and
Jacksonville. He then served as the chairman of Taylor Woodrow
Homes before becoming president of the development company for the
Schroeder Manatee Ranch, a 28,000-acre private land holding in
Sarasota and Manatee County, Fla. The community of Lakewood Ranch
became one of the top selling communities in Florida and the
nation, combining a broad mix of residential uses with commercial
and light industrial uses. The project generated more than one job
for every new home built.
After developing in Sarasota and Manatee counties and before
joining GreenPointe Holdings, Postlethwaite worked alongside Ed
Burr for more than 10 years as the Chief Operating Officer for
LandMar Group, LLC developing communities of lasting value in
Florida and coastal Georgia.
Postlethwaite is actively involved in the real estate industry
as a member of the Urban Land Institute, Northeast Florida Builders
Association and the National Association of Homebuilders. His
charitable activities extend beyond work and include an active
involvement with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
